Sleepy Girl

I wish I could still sleep like this...

Hide and Seek

Where's Mason?
Here I am!
I went in our room to put away laundry and I heard little chuckles coming from the pillows. While I went to get the clothes out of the dryer Mason went to our room, crawled up our bed, and hid behind the pillows. Shortly after the laughing he asked, "Where's Mason?" I just love his personality. Quite the jokester!

Pumpkin Patch

The pumpkin he liked.

We had to pull him off this to go home.

Must get his country side from his Papa.

My family after a day at the pumpkin patch...can we say "tired"?

Good Friends

Our good friends Jeff and Kristi brought dinner to us last night. They have a little girl that is just too precious. She and Mason had a great time chasing each other around the house. Below is the two of them sitting in the same chair eating brownies. As you can see, Mason is VERY happy!

Jeff and Kristi, thank you so much for the yummy dinner!

Addison's First Few Days.

My Beautiful Baby Girl

Life is GOOD! Steven and I love our family of four. It has been a very smooth transition so far. Much smoother than bringing Mason home. I think we are a lot more prepared this go 'round. Addie however, does not like her crib too much. She will sleep in it, but not very long. We are definitely working on that! Below are a few more pics of our new addition, and her loving big bro.Proud Daddy

I love her black hair! She looks funny with me, but fits perfectly with her daddy!

Mason LOVES his sister. He gives her at least 50 kisses a day!

Mason's was all about his sister at the hospital...look at those cheesy grins!

Lincoln or Addie?

As you can see Lindsay is still preggo, so it must be ours. I thought it was funny that she 'fits' a little better in pictures with her Aunt Lindz and Uncle Ne. A little odd to see the blondies (Mason and I) with Addison, but she sure does fit with Daddy!

Addison was born October 15th at 9:09am. I was supposed to be induced at 8:00am, but she decided she wanted to pick her own birthday! Contractions started around 3:30 am, and by the time we got to the hospital I was HURTING! They sure do come on strong with the 2nd child. I did however get the epidural in enough time to rest for about an hour before she was born. She was easy on the delivery part...three easy pushes and she was out! She weighed 6lbs 12oz and was 20 inches long.
We are all doing just fine...Steven and I a little sleep deprived from our first night home, but Mason had no problems sleeping through the crying! He loves his little sister very much and is so sweet with her. I'll post more pics later.

Slings

Does anyone have a sling that they love and is easy to get a newborn in and out of? We already have a Baby Bjorn. I love it once the baby is in there, but it's the getting them in there part that takes forever! Just curious to know what other moms love...

Really??? A 1...

Went to the dr. today, and I'm at a 1! Seriously, a ONE!!! With Mason I was ready to push him out at this point. GIRLS...I guess you have to wait for them to be ready when they're ready. If this is any indication of her future, we'll definitely have to work on her time management skills.

Now my sister-in-law on the other hand is at a one also. She's 2 weeks behing me, but Mr. Lincoln is already weighing in at 8lbs. For her sake, I hope he arrives very soon. So if you see a pic of a baby on here, make sure you check to see if it's Addison or Lincoln! The race is on...

Reunion and Boo-boos

This past week has been very LONG and very EXHAUSTING! Since Addison is coming soon, I had to do my parent/teacher conferences early. When Friday finally rolled around I was so ready to come home to my boys. As I pulled into the driveway, Mason and Steven were playing in the front yard. Mason came running up to me, but before he got to his destination he and the concrete had a very unfortunate meeting. He fell so hard. He's okay now though. Nothing major...just the lovely scars left behind.

Now for the white stuff on his face...Steven and I had our 10 year reunion last night. Steven was shaving and Mason climbed up on the toliet to watch. He decided that he needed to shave too. It's so funny to see all the mimicry that toddlers do. Anyway, this is Mason shaving like Daddy...

We had a great time at our reunion. Of course, I wasn't stoked about going being 10 days out from my due date, but c'est la vie. It was great to see everyone. It was funny to see how much people had changed and how much people remained the same. I went ahead and posted a pic of Addison growing. I'm secretly hoping this is my LAST preggo photo. I'm ready for her to be here. She is dropping lower and lower which makes it very difficult for pants to stay up!
Me and my beautiful sister-in-law who is due a week after Addison. It was nice to have someone else at the reunion that was ALMOST as big as me.

News, Surprise, and Just Plain Cute

We went to our 37 week appointment yesterday and I am only dialated to a 1...yep...that's it. On the positive side, we did set an induction date for October 15th. It's nice to know I have a definite "you will no longer be pregnant" date...LOVE IT! However, please pray that Little Addie doesn't come the 9th through the 12th. Dr. Nilson thinks going to the OU/Texas game with his family is way more important than me possibly delivering my child...PRIORITIES! j/k

After our appointment, Steven and I headed to my mom's for dinner and to get Mason (she always picks him up from Ms. Melinda's for us on appt. days). Once we got there she told me that she was taking us out to eat at Los Cabos. I really didn't want to go. I was tired, it was pj day at school, and I looked like dookie. But, being the trooper that I am (insert sarcasm here), I went. Once we got there I got a huge surprise in seeing a lot of my friends. My sister-in-law had thrown me a surprise shower! She is the absolute best. Here she is 9 months preggo herself, and she throws a shower for me. I just LOVE her!!!

Now, these pictures have nothing to do with my appointment or the shower (You probably won't see any pics posted on here from the shower. I'm not lying...I looked HORRIBLE!). However, I just got these pics today from our babysitter. I absolutely adore her. It's so wonderful to have someone love your child and your child love them back. It makes working so much easier.

Mason and Logan enjoying their day in the wagon that is NOT moving. The hat on his head is not even his, but he loves to wear it. Thank goodness Logan shares. What a great buddy!
