RECIPE FOR EDIBLE PAINT
4 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 cup of cornstarch
2 cups cold water
food coloring
Mix the first 3 ingredients together and heat, constantly stirring for 2 minutes. The longer you heat it, the goopier it gets. Let cool, then add the food coloring you want.
After painting, it leaves a little tint behind, but nothing a bath won't wash off. I have to give props to Ashley for this recipe. She has lots of DIY activities on her website. Thanks for the recipe for edible paint!! That will really come in handy when Paxton gets a little older.
